Day 192 - Easy does it

We made our weekly trip to the library today so the girls could get more Easy Reader books.

My goal is that we will all be reading strong by the time school starts. I haven't mentioned this goal to the girls.  Instead, I make them read to me every morning while I make breakfast.  Being half asleep makes it easier for me to follow the riveting story lines.

 I am bracing myself for the moment that the girls realize these books are not very interesting, but for now they find them novel and like that they can read them without help.
