Today we had a Daisy Girl Scout hike as an end of the year activity. All in all, the hike was a great success. No one got lost, hurt, or poison oak. I was quite relieved, since going into the wilderness with 12 kindergarteners made me a more than a little nervous.
I asked our good friend Justen to lead the hike, since he happens to be a professor of botany. It pays to know really smart people!
