Tonight San Jose State School of Library Information Science school held a small reception for this year's graduates. I went to support my friends finishing up their programs. Imagine how amused I was to discover I was also considered a "graduate" as well. Apparently because I finished my last class during summer 2010, I was considered a graduate in December of 2010. But because a convocation isn't held during the winter, all the December graduates are celebrated in the following spring. Seems more than a little silly seeing as my diploma arrived months and months ago.Update: So I was almost positive I had been invited to Convocation last year, and sure enough, here I am in the 2010 program!
