I made peanut butter chocolate chip cookies today.Well, actually I made peanut butter chocolate chip cookies AGAIN today after making a sub-par batch last night. The cookies were too dense and didn't taste enough like peanut butter. I was talking on the phone while baking and apparently wasn't paying close enough attention while measuring. After the cookies didn't turn out the way I thought they should taste, I discovered that talking on the phone while baking is probably a very bad idea. So today, it was back to the mixing bowl.
These were actually sort of special cookies, because I added chocolate chips. While the addition of chocolate chips shouldn't really be considered special, I tend to stick to a recipe pretty faithfully once I have determined it works. So, unless someone suggests a change, I stick to what works. This worked. So, I have added Peanut Butter Chocolate Chips cookies to my list.
