The girls and I went grocery shopping today and they wanted biscuits with honey. I remember the taste of sour cream biscuits from my childhood and had to have them, but I didn't have a recipe. I bought Bisquick and sour cream and figured I would find something close online.
They look right, and they smell right, but the taste isn't quite right. I have a funny feeling we might be eating a lot of biscuits in the next few weeks, or until I figure it out.
I also remembered I didn't get to make soda bread for St Patrick's day this year, since it was in the middle of spirit week. I might have to go back to the store tomorrow just to get craisins for soda bread!
