Today did not get off to a good start... The hose from the washing machine came of the hole in the wall, (why is this how a washing machine drains? this seems sort of crazy to me, there's no clamp or anything to hold it in place??), and drained all over the floor of the laundry room...Fortunately I made the discovery before the water got too far, unfortunately, the laundry room was full of wet lint and towels at 7:15 in the morning. Disgusting. Needless to say, I was late for work. 
After work, I spent happy hour in the library, cause I am cool like that, and brought home a huge stack of books. I can't wait to dive into them!And then, I managed to do a little Christmas shopping, someone's getting a stocking stuffer!
