Little House in the Willow Glen: Day 335 -Trader Junk's

My favorite part of the holidays is all the specialty foods that show up in stores; candy, egg nog, pate...
Well, except peppermint, I am not a peppermint fan and I hate that everything seems to have chopped up candy canes sprinkled on it or in it. Bleah.

I went a little crazy at Trader Joe's tonight and bought a few treats. I was really excited about the Salted Caramels, but I should have done a little research on my favorite blog first... they weren't that exciting... the dark chocolate peanut butter cups, so good...

Distractions galore!

My job is in technology. For the last 2 years, I have been working on a MLIS with a focus on, technology. But, when I step away from the computer, I have the most fun doing the more low-tech things.

As a child, I read the Little House Books like they were modern manuals for life. If they could do it on the prairie with no power, I must have a good shot. I am still an avid reader, a neurotic baker, crafter, knitter, amateur DIYer, and multi-tasker.

Since I am the queen of distraction and PIGS (projects in grocery sacks), I decided to share my chaos with the world. Who knows, you might see something you actually like.
