We celebrated Thanksgiving today with the family since we couldn't be together on Thursday. We had a nice time seeing all of the family and eating some yummy food. My mom said that next year if we don't celebrate on Thanksgiving, we should have something different for dinner. I'm thinking crab legs!

Distractions galore!

My job is in technology. For the last 2 years, I have been working on a MLIS with a focus on, technology. But, when I step away from the computer, I have the most fun doing the more low-tech things.

As a child, I read the Little House Books like they were modern manuals for life. If they could do it on the prairie with no power, I must have a good shot. I am still an avid reader, a neurotic baker, crafter, knitter, amateur DIYer, and multi-tasker.

Since I am the queen of distraction and PIGS (projects in grocery sacks), I decided to share my chaos with the world. Who knows, you might see something you actually like.
