They both want to be pirates for Halloween. I convinced Lydia not to be Captain Jack, and instead to be Blackbeard's daughter. As soon as she agreed, Teagan decided she needed to be Captain Jack. I made the executive decision that all pirates at our house would be female pirates, and we will deal with issues of naming in the future.
I thought I would make their costumes, but heard rumors about pirate costumes at Costco, so we went to investigate. The girl pirate costumes weren't that exciting, so instead we opted for the boys costumes. Now I get to have fun turning these into girl pirate costumes.
