While trying to make Lydia's new dress the other day, I discovered that neither pair of my sewing scissors would actually cut fabric... A curious situation at best. Before the move, all of the scissors work. After the move, none of the scissors work. I suspect some small people might have had a hand in this. Either the kitchen gnome, or the girls...
Luckily, I have a rotary cutter and I was able to use that instead to make Lydia's dress. But it's sort of hard to sew without a pair (or 2) of functional scissors. So, today before attempting to start Teagan's dress, made from the very expensive fabric she selected,we went and bought new scissors.
