On Friday, the girls had an Easter egg hunt at school (don't even get me started on how weird I think it is that a public school had an Easter egg hunt), and came home with a strange assortment of Easter goodies. It's always interesting to see what other people put in their Easter eggs. Stranger than what was in the eggs however, were these three -dimensional eggs, a pig and a cow. Sort of creepy....

I was pretty sure that the Easter Bunny wasn't going to stop at our house this year. So sure in fact that I discussed it with Gramma, who agreed to help the bunny out by having baskets waiting for the girls tomorrow morning. But, at 5pm today, I decided that perhaps the bunny would pay us a visit.

So, I braved the Easter crowds to go a find a few things to add to the girls' Easter purses. The sight of the empty candy shelves at 3 different store may have upset me if I didn't have 5 open bags of Easter candy at home already, enough to fill 2 dozen eggs. Finally my sweet tooth has paid off!
I came home with sidewalk chalk, pencils, hair things and nail polish. I can't even fit it all in their purses. I think the bunny will approve.
