Day 67- Mardi Gras

Today was Mardi Gras and for the past several years, we have visited a New Orleans style restaurant downtown to celebrate Fat Tuesday, so on Monday I asked the girls if they were interested in going to Poor House Bistro for dinner on Tuesday night.  After they finished grilling me about what type of food would be served, if there would be a band and king cake, they decided that they would like to go out on Tuesday night.

Tuesday however, I realized that there was a Sharks game at the HP Pavilion, a block away from the restaurant.  I tried to convince the girls that we could go to a different restaurant for Mardi Gras, but they weren't having it.  So we braved the crowds and the parking to go to Poor House.  We had a great time.  The band was great, people graciously shared their table with us so we could have seat, and the girls were given lots and lots of beads.
