My first morning of REAL vacation, and I managed to wake up at 4:30 in the morning. I can't manage to get up at 4:30 on a real work day, so I have no idea why I was able to do it today. I spent most of the day walking around in a haze, but we did manage to make some pecan tassies, and some jam thumbprints. And then this evening, I had bacon martinis with friends and got to see a screening of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Getting up at 4:30 turned out not to be as bad as anticipated.
