The girls have been doing more and more cooking, partially because they are tall enough now, partially because they are more interested, and partially because now it doesn't seem so scary to me to allow them to use things like knives and the stove.
My job is in technology. For the last 2 years, I have been working on a MLIS with a focus on, technology. But, when I step away from the computer, I have the most fun doing the more low-tech things.
As a child, I read the Little House Books like they were modern manuals for life. If they could do it on the prairie with no power, I must have a good shot. I am still an avid reader, a neurotic baker, crafter, knitter, amateur DIYer, and multi-tasker.
Since I am the queen of distraction and PIGS (projects in grocery sacks), I decided to share my chaos with the world. Who knows, you might see something you actually like.
