Apparently tomorrow is St. Nicholas Day, which means that if your nanny is Beligun she has told your children to put out their shoes tonight so they can be filled with candy and gifts the next morning. My girls took this responsibility seriously, and left out their sparkly shoes, stuffed full of baby carrots for St. Nicholas' horse (I was told the horse is brown and nameless).
Alterna-Santa should be greeted properly for his visit, so the girls prepared by making snowflake ornaments, and decorating the little tree on the table. I prepared by baking St. Nicholas the first batch Christmas spritz cookies.
Hopefully St. Nicholas will pay us a visit!
