Today was the entire staff's 1st day back at work We always have a retreat for the first day back, which means we have time to say hello to people we haven't seen, and sort of ease into the idea of working again. This year our retreat was a little different because instead of venturing off to a retreat center in the mountains, we ventured into Downtown. We had a variety of places we were able to tour or explore for a few hours. It was like being on field trip. Our group went on a tour of the new City Hall and met with a representative from our council district. Check out the amazing views from the conference room we met in. I took the opportunity to take a variety of pictures, and then threw them all in a slideshow for people to see during lunch. (Note to self: people usually aren't thrilled about seeing candid shots of themselves eating).
