Things I cannot do well include opening wine. Is that even the correct term?
There's my wine, a lovely sangiovese from Silverado Vineyards in Napa, with half a cork floating inside.

Distractions galore!
My job is in technology. For the last 2 years, I have been working on a MLIS with a focus on, technology. But, when I step away from the computer, I have the most fun doing the more low-tech things.
As a child, I read the Little House Books like they were modern manuals for life. If they could do it on the prairie with no power, I must have a good shot. I am still an avid reader, a neurotic baker, crafter, knitter, amateur DIYer, and multi-tasker.
Since I am the queen of distraction and PIGS (projects in grocery sacks), I decided to share my chaos with the world. Who knows, you might see something you actually like.

Sometimes you just have to let things be, maybe that cork was not meant to be completely taken out of the bottle. With the cork still in the bottle, you are still capable of pouring out the wine, so it's all good. You still get to what you wanted and your glass is can be half full ;)
